Hearing & Vision Loss is an important Health concern.

Perhaps one of the most debilitating on-the-job injuries a worker can suffer is the loss of hearing or vision. Workplace vision or hearing loss can sideline a worker temporarily, permanently, and totally, and leave the worker with a permanent incapacity.

In older adults, hearing or vision loss has also been shown to be associated with poor quality of life and functional limitations.
